My vision of the piloting start on the ground, then close to ground ( wagga style or proximity fly ) to finish in the air to make acro maneuvers. So I try to made a wing who can make all that kind style of fly.

An especially important premise of the design was to get pure pleasure of the flight feeling, accompanied with capability of fast, dynamic acro maneuvers.

Mach already proved to be perfect for acro competitions. On such a fast, dynamic canopy, fully retaining inner pressure in any maneuvers you can put out a spectacular show.

In order to ensure possibly high inner pressure, Mach 1.1 features new system of inner structural valves, keeping the canopy rigid during e.g. Infinity tumbling.

I designed and trimmed the ZigZag 2 for Dudek last year and it is now available for this winter.

The ZZ2 is a wing for pilots who like freeride and steep run !

Really stable pitch with long breaks, the wing can follow steep slopes.

There are 3 sizes:

- 13 sqm : easy and safe, perfect as a first wing for beginners

- 11 sqm : intermediate. For pilots with some speed experience, willing to progress to a more dynamic wing able to steep run.

- 9 sqm : for expert only able to control dynamic roll in really steep slopes

Technical information :

I am happy to present you my new wing for Dudek, the Freeway. this wing is a small canopy with excellent manouvrability and big safety factor, i designed it for those who like to have good fun play in the air, including elements of aerobatics like helicopter, sat …

Freeway’s performance allows for active flying even in thermal conditions, while meagre aspect ratio and considerable wing load mean stability in wide speed range.

Certification

Currently Freeway is under EN tests – we expect a D-class certificate. Most of the manoeuvers will be evaluated as C, yet one of them will decide. Paragliders of this kind do not exit the spiral dive on its own and requires pilot action – that’s why the final result will be most probably D.

Since some years i think about a rigid chest strap for a reduction of twist risque.
The last year with Pascal Valley, we did some acro test with his paramotor and we were impress by the rigid comportment during the spin triks.
I made the first test during the winter 2010/2011 with the wood bar, and Gill SCHNEIDER push the test this winter with a better shape bar.
After the test i think it s can be nice in acro in some way, but i advice for beginning acro more safety.

test : rigid chest straps from Jb test fly on Vimeo.

The feel back :
- no problem during the take of
- hard to twist during the flight.
- no one change in dynamic tricks
- a real security during the spin tricks ( mac twist, helico, misty … )
- it s change the feeling during the spin tricks ( helico, the helico link and misty )

the positive points :
- diminution of twist risque
- during the twist, the bar push for come back in normal way.
- a possibility to push faster some tricks ( twister, sat to heli, mac twist )
- safety for learn some tricks ( full stall, spin, helico, misty, mac twist … )

The negative points :
- the twisty misty can be really harder ( we don’t test ir )
- the helico landing can be also a problem ( we don’t test it )

If you are interesting, test it, it s easy to build
cheers
